Welcome to the Internet, Mom.

Today I helped my mom set up her laptop with wireless internet at her house. I also set her up with her very first e-mail address ... Of course she now uses GMail.

Along the way, she got Mozilla Firefox to browse the web, and the Google Deskbar to help her gather information ... She's all set.

Welcome to the World Wide Web, Mom ... Happy surfing!!!

Ingenious Baby Moving Invention

I can't believe they did it ... but Heather spotted this at the airport tonight. That's right ... a baby being wheeled around the airport like a piece of luggage. Now, a baby is wide open to spilling of coffee, bumping of other luggage and tipping of your own luggage ... God bless these parents and their caring ways.

Priceless ...

UPDATE: I did a search online and found that the baby chair roller is designed to roll the chair as a piece of luggage, WITHOUT the baby inside. So, this is simply a case of bad parenting. CLICK HERE to see it at the Target store.

Who Knew?

A few weeks back I made this post about Fox putting the Simpsons couch in movie theater lobbies, and praised its genius.

Little did I know that Chris from Movie Marketing Madness found it and linked to it ... Who know that anyone read this thing!

I Went in Search of The Simpsons

So I held myself back from going to the nearest Quick-E-Mart (Click here for its location), but I went to my local 7-11 (falling for the promotion) to pick up some necessary Simpsons 'stuff'. I was very disappointed that my 7-11 did not have Buzz Cola, but I was able to pick up a Squishy and some Krusty-O's Cereal.

My one big let-down was that the sales clerks were not into it at all. I inquired about the Buzz Cola and they had absolutely no clue what I was talking about. Sure it wasn't one of the 11 full fledged Quick-E-Marts, but they could have tried, right? Oh well ... pictures below:

From Tony Cornheiser on PTI last night ...

"How is Bob Barker going to celebrate his last Price is Right taping? ... Two words: SHOWCASE HOEDOWN!"

Chicken Soup for the Office Worker's Soul

I found this post today and got a chuckle. This is for anyone that works in an office and thinks about getting a little overzealous.
